Attention - Get your deposits for pups in ASAP

In 2009 the only litter we currently have planned will be our premier breeding of Salt Lick's Tree Chopper and Salt Lick's Rough Cut Diamond. These pups will be $650 each except that we will select and set aside a pup most suitable for a search and rescue program. This pup will be $750.

We are now accepting $200 deposit per pup from this litter but we will not breed these hounds unless we have 7 deposits beforehand. In the past (before the recession), this breeding would be sold out 6 months before we even bred Di. If you are interested in getting one of these pups, we strongly advise you to send in a $200 deposit. Email us for a snail mail address where to send the check: Contact Salt Lick Kennels

All Salt Lick Kennel pups, when ready for their new homes, will be completely weaned, treated for worms, partially paper trained and, most importantly, socialized with people and other dogs. We offer the option for us to start vaccinations at 6 weeks or you can opt to get your pup without any vaccinations. There is some evidence that the tradition vaccination schedule begins too early and may be harmful to dogs; see: http://www.itsfortheanimals.com/DODDS-CHG-VACC-PROTOCOLS.HTM
