About Russ Landau and Landau Music Group, Inc.
The Landau Music Group was founded in 1992 by composer
and record producer Russ Landau as a base of operations
for his scoring and production work.
Of particular interest right now is Russ' theme music, "Ancient
Voices" and underscore for CBS' wildly successful new
show, "Survivor". The soundtrack CD is
out now on TVT

Besides sharing a Grammy in 1995 for Best New Age Album
with Paul Winter for "Prayer For The Wild Things", Russ
Landau composed the Main Title Theme and score for NBC and Amblin's
"SeaQuest 2032", for which he was nominated for
an Emmy Award.
On the recording front, check out his latest collaboration
with Paul Winter on "Celtic Soul," featuring
world renown Celtic singer Noirin Ni Riain (released on
Paul Winter's Living Music label).
As well as scoring Survivor, SeaQuest DSV and 2032,
Russ' wrote the main title theme music and underscore on the series
"Moloney" for CBS, "Fire Co. 132"
on the Fox network and "The Net" on USA Networks.

Russ collaborated with Brooke Langton and their friend
Doug Deep on a song called "The Rumble Of Normal"
for the movie, "Playing Mona Lisa", which Brooke
stars in.
Recent movies that Russ has scored include "Love
and Action in Chicago" with Courtney Vance and Kathleen
Turner, "Totally Irresponsible"
starring David Faustino, "Nowhere Land" and "Telling
You" with Jennifer Love-Hewitt.
A new Book /CD entitled "Dinosongs, Poems To
Celebrate a T.Rex Named Sue" was released July 1, 2000
celebrating the opening of the new Tyrannosaurus Rex exhibit at
the Chicago Museum of Natural History featuring the narration
of Susan Sarandon with underscore and orchestral vignettes
by Russ Landau.

Dinosongs was just for nominated
for a grammy in the Children's Spoken Word Category.
Russ' music can also be heard behind the new "Good
Neighbor Pharmacy" national ad campaign.
Current projects include the new Eco Challenge on
the USA Network; Survivor II on CBS; Racehoss, a
feature film documenting the life and times of Albert Racehoss
Sample; and Combat Missions, also on the USA Network. Russ
just penned the main title theme to the new NBC show, Fear
Factor, and begins scoring in January '01.
