Bypassing clutch is only necessary when using a MT-safe RS unit, like Compustar and several other units.

The location of the clutch switch is usually located b4 the clutch pedal not behind the pedal. If theres cruise control available on teh vehicle, there will be two switches....one for cruise and one for clutch.

Honda's Clutch system: the clutch wire is usually the non-black(-) wire on the 2wire switch system.

Mitsubishi GT3000, the clutch is normally closed. use a relay to interrupt the wire when RS. Along w/ other (make and model) 2wire switch system, its similar to the HONDA (above).
