FALL SELLERS

You must register before September 29th to be a seller at the Fall sale.

 

 

STEP 1

Returning sellers - you will keep your seller # from the previous sale - you can start tagging your items and putting them aside for the next sale!  Please email me and let me know that you will be selling this Fall 2006.  There is a $6 registration fee for the Fall 2006 sale.

New Sellers - if you want to get an early start tagging your items for the Fall 2006 sale all you need to do is register.  There is a $10 registration fee for new sellers.  To register, click the PayPal button below to pay your $10 registration fee via credit card or your own PayPal account.   When I receive the email confirming your payment, I will email you a seller #.

New sellers, if you would prefer to send me a check for the registration fee, email me with your Name, Address, Telephone and I will send you the address to mail your registration fee.  Upon receipt of the check, I will email you a seller #.

 

Sellers must be selling at least 15 items or more. 

Sellers - I've found that the best way to secure your tags to clothing is via a tagging gun.  These are typically $25-30+ at retail.  I've set up a special relationship with a vendor so that you can get a tagging gun, 6 needles, and 1000 1.5" barbs for only $6.50 (including shipping!!!).   All you have to do is email:  bargainprice4u@toyforadult.com, mention LA Kids Consignment and that you would like to get a tagging gun, 6 needles, and 1000 1" barbs for only $6.50.  He will then instruct you to pay via PayPal and then mail your tagging gun!
This is totally optional - you do not have to use this type of tagging gun.  Safety pins work nicely too.

STEP 2

Once you have tagged your items, you will need to set up a drop off.  You will receive instructions on how to set up your drop-off appointment in the seller instructions that are emailed to you on confirmation of your registration.

 

Drop-off appointments are available: 
Sunday, October 1st - 10am - 8pm
Monday, October 2nd - 9am-8pm
Tuesday, October 3rd - 9am-8pm
Wednesday, October 4th - 9am-8pm
 
 
Depending on the number of items, drop-off should only take about 15 minutes depending on your number of items (over 75 items we might need a bit longer). 
 

STEP 3

Bring the signed disclaimer form with your LARGE self addressed envelope to your drop-off appointment.   Please put 10 stamps INSIDE your envelope (or more stamps if you have more than 150 items).   I will put the correct postage on your envelope and put the extra postage back inside the envelope to mail back to you.

In consideration for the opportunity to participate in and profit from the LA Kids Consignment Sale (LAKCS), the undersigned seller agrees to the following:
 
1.  Seller agrees to hold harmless and make no claim against Kristin Nelson, leaser or owner of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in the LAKCS, or the insurer of the LAKCS for the damage, theft, or loss of any items consigned to LAKCS.  LAKCS does not anticipate any thefts, damage, or loss and takes every precaution to prevent them, but occasionally these events may occur.
2.  Seller agrees to waive any and all claims for personal injury resulting from participation in the LAKCS from whatever cause either foreseen or unforeseen against Kristin Nelson, leaser or owner of the space where the sale is held, any volunteer or paid participants in the LAKCS, or the insurer of the LAKCS.
3.  Sellers will receive 65% of the sales price on items that sell.  Sellers who volunteer and complete one 3-hour shift will receive 70% of sales.  If a seller signs up to volunteer and does not complete the volunteer session, seller will then receive only 65% of sales.
4.  Seller agrees that on the last day of the sale, some items may be sold for up to half of the price originally designated by the seller if the item is marked with a Y on the item tag.
5.  All goods left in the possession of LAKC are at the sole risk of the seller.  Seller agrees that it shall assume and bear all risks regarding consigned goods, and will hold LAKC exempt from any and all liability or damage to the consigned goods.  Should items be lost, stolen or damaged, LAKC is not responsible to compensate the seller for the items.
6.  LAKC reserves the right to remove any items from the sale due to wear, poor condition, or stains.  Items remaining after October 8th at 1pm will be donated or become property of LAKC.
7.  Seller agrees that no claims will be made against LAKC for any discrepancies involving items placed in the sale.
8.  Seller agrees that unsold items marked with a D on the tag will be donated at the end of the sale.

Each seller agrees to this and must sign a disclaimer form when the choose to sell their items at the LAKCS.  If the form is not signed, it is assumed that the seller agrees to the form when they leave their items with LAKC for the purpose of consignment.
