Well, I suppose I should explain why my CDs are referred to as the Bitch Mixes. It's a fun story anyway, I think.

I was bitching, moaning and otherwise being my normal self when it came to music being scattered to the four winds. The person I was talking to looked at me go from CD to CD with the songs that I wanted to listen to and asked why I didn't just save myself the trouble and just put them all on one CD. Of course, they wouldn't all fit on one CD, but I thought it a sound idea. I jokingly said that I should probably call them "Songs to Soothe the Savage Bitch", as that was how I was acting at the time.

It ended up being shortened to the Bitch Mixes. Saved time and ink.

Even more amusing was when a coworker walked up and wondered what that was, being overall appalled at the title I slapped on the damned things. I grinned, shrugged, and popped it in. Needless to say, she was shocked to hear Peter Cetera come out of the speakers, rather than what she was used to from her adult children my age. Again, I shrugged. I don't particularly like rap and that was what she was expecting. Too bad. It was a pleasant surprise anyway.
