Where are they now? Below Dave Z of the Bones Brigade. Dave Z is mentioned in the book by Tony Hawk, "Hawk: Occupation Skateboarder".

Above is a scrappy photograph of Dave Z (Zakrzewski, pronounced "Zak Chev Ski"), and when I say scrappy I mean scrappy in quality. This is the only Photo we had of Dave Z from 1980 we scanned it out of our 1981 High School Year Book, the editor croped the photo to much. Dave Z rode for the Boogie Bowl Skateboard team in Glendale, California. In 1980 he turned pro and rode for Powell Peralta's "Bones Brigade" with Alan Gelfand, Mike Mcgill, Jay Smith, Ray "Bones" Rodriguez , Lance Mountain, Tony Hawk, and Steve Caballero. Dave Z is one of Kevin Staab and Tony Hawk's favorite skaters, as Tony put it; "low key and Rippin". Dave is bustin' a Backside ollie about four feet out in a 10 foot pool.
