"Wanna celebrate Solstice with me, Jim?" Blair lay on his side
next to
Jim lightly stroking the Sentinel's broad back.
Jim was currently trying to recover from Blair's last "celebration."
They'd just closed a nasty murder case and Blair had brought Jim home
to
several hours of very powerful lovemaking. He waved a tired hand
in the
general direction of his younger lover and opened one slightly bloodshot
blue eye to peer up at Blair. It was not fair that one man had
so much
energy. Nor looked so damed beautiful with kiss swollen lips
and passion
marks on his neck and shoulders.
"Why do I think that answering "yes" to that question will get me in
more
trouble than I want to be in?"
Blair pretended to pout.
"I'm hurt. I just want to spend the longest day of the year with
my lover
and friend. Is that so bad?"
"Considering that the last few hours with you has me contemplating a
full
time nurse, I fear for my life after a whole day."
Blair looked smug.
"You are the one who wanted to go for fourths. Come on, we'll
start the
day watching the sunrise someplace special. Then do things outdoors
all
day. Worship the sun. Maybe go surfing? You'd like
that. Arrange to be
someplace to watch a spectacular sunset. Have picnic meals.
Then come
back here and make love by moonlight until the next sunrise."
Jim turned over, wincing a little at the tenderness in his ass. He pulled
Blair into a full body hug.
"Sounds like a plan."
"Good, ‘cause I got Simon to give us next Thursday and Friday off."
