How to Fit and Show a Rabbit
Page One

Please note that each fitting and showing judge will ask you to do the particular
showman steps in different orders than each other and what you find here.

The Steps to Fitting and Showing a Rabbit.

Step One:
Carrying the Rabbit

Carrying the rabbit

To carry the rabbit:

Place the rabbit in the left facing position, then grip the rabbit's scruff with your right hand.

Place your left hand on the rabbit's rump and scoop the rabbit into your arms.

The rabbit's nose should be peeking out between your left arm and your body.

The judge may ask you to walk around the table or turn and walk towards the back.

The judge should ask you to return the rabbit to the table once the judge is done observing you.

At that point, put the rabbit in the resting position requested by the judge prior to the competition.
