ABOUT THE DANCES...
Circling to share and explore, uplift and celebrate the essential unity of the people of all spiritual traditions, we embody prayer through dance, walk, and chant.
Explore dances that lead us to meditative consciousness and inner peace. For more than 40 years in gatherings around the world the Dances of Universal Peace are a form of circle dance utilizing movement and sacred phrases from the world's spiritual traditions. Celebrating our inter-connectivity in furtherance of the cause of peace and understanding, this inter-faith meditation of body, mind, and spirit enlivens awareness of the essential unity we share. Live music and simple steps joyfully touch the spiritual essence within ourselves and all beings. No musical or dance experience of any kind is required and everyone is welcomed. Please join us!
(A special note: In order to honor and assist those in our community-at-large who may find themselves in need of some basic support at this time, please consider bringing some canned goods or other non-perishable food items to our Dances. We will deliver these offerings to St. Mary's Food Bank.)
