9/17/04: The Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters at the University of Louvain in
Belgium reports that here were 337 natural disasters reported in 2003, up from 261 in 1990. Reports of the number of people
killed in the US by Hurricane Ivan - the worst in decades - vary, but the Associated Press agency says at least 33 died.
Aah, but the news of the day is ephemeral, like everything, when viewed with sufficient perspective.
The probe's view of Saturn's system has discovered more satellites, which - if confirmed - will bring
the total of Saturn's moon beyond 33.
One moment we find a 33, and the next it is gone! But surely, there is no shortage of supply.
