    The number thirty-three is a number with special significance. Does "33" mean anything special to you?

    For better than 10 years, I have noticed the number "thirty-three" showing up -- both in my immediate surroundings and in objects and facts related to me -- with a frequency of occurrence far higher than one might reasonably expect. It is true that we may see what we look for, but when we find what we are "looking for" in quantities, places and circumstances which seem highly unlikely, there may be cause to wonder if there might be more to the story than meets with common sense.

    I have endeavored to be as objective as possible, and I have considered just about every suggestion as to reasons or possible meanings this may have, and still it remains a mystery to most who carefully consider it. Having become curious, I've uncovered a good deal of information over the past few years regarding this "master number."

    A growing number of other people also say that this number appears frequently and regularly in their lives, and I suspect there may be many more. As already indicated, "33" seems special in its own right for many reasons.

    This "guest book" archives comments from others who have some interest in this number. Are you such a person? Perhaps you know someone who has such a special interest. Or, perhaps you'd simply like to know more about the number "thirty-three."

    I have now been in contact with many others who are having this kind of experience, and I suspect there are many more, which is why I posted this space about "33": for people to share their experiences.

    I don't have any answers about the meaning of this, but I have many thoughts, ideas, speculations, as well as a large file of facts about the number "33" and its significance to various world religions, sciences, etc. I also maintain a file of my own personal experiences.

    Broadly, I have long suspected that there is some importance to this sort of experience, and that it may be happening to many people.

    One site I found especially interesting can be viewed via the link on the main page. It is entitled, "33 -- The Universal Beat." It describes the number 33 in terms like those I suspected long ago. You may find it of interest, as well.

    Comments: I went to your site and read a couple of link pages. 2 pages caught my interest.
    I can't even *begin* to tell you how many damn times I have seen 33, 333, or even 3333 in the last year or so (maybe longer, can't remember). I know one thing for certain, the publication of this book has been LOADED with synchronistic sightings of 33 or some variation thereof. I mean, I have been *flooded* with 33 & 333 in connection with my book. In almost every instance, it has to do with a kind of 'promise' from Spirit, one which assured me of success with this book. Many times I found myself driving along the road, wondering if my book would sell well, (like I was told by spiritual means a long time ago), and immediately after wondering about this, I would see 33, 333, or even 3333 on a clock, my cd player, a mailbox address, even license plates. The number of times I have seen these numbers is absurd, to put it lightly.
    Recently, I had a bout with seeing 444. Then it disappeared abruptly. Have you any experiences with 444? This one puzzles me a little. Hadn't enough time to analyze it, so to speak.
    Just a few thoughts.

    Comments: I randomly went to my search engine on the internet to look up and significance to the number 33. Sure enough, I found many, including yours. I was surprised to read stories similar to mine. For example, almost always I'll look to see what time it is, and no matter the hour, the minute is always 33. Or that my mom was 33 when I was born. My savior Jesus Christ, for I am a Christian happened to be crucified at the age of 33. I see it every where. In the time, liscence plates on cars in front of me, bill boards, I mean I am talking everywhere!! And by no means do I sit and wait for the time to turn to the minute 33, I look randomly at any given moment, and there it is, with the minute being 33. I cannot begin to come up with a logical answer to theses unusual occurences with regards to the number 33. Please email me back with any thoughts or information. Thank you.

    I had long suspected that I have been seeing way "too many" 33s on license plates in my city.

    A math professor has recently confirmed my earlier analysis that there will normally be just under two "33s" per any hundred 3-digit random sets.

    Where I live, as in most places, the three digits on most automobile license plates are genuinely randomly distributed, especially when viewed in, say, a parking lot, or while driving down the street.

    So, if you see, as do I, many more than two "33s" per hundred cars you see, you are having a statistically aberrant experience.

    I noticed early on that I was seeing far more than 2 per hundred, and this -- perhaps more than anything else -- assured me that I was not "crazy" or simply "looking for 33s," but that something truly unusual -- "para-normal," in the most literal sense -- was going on.

    Comments: My life revolves around the number 33. I first discovered this revelationary number after the first time I repented for my many sins. As a catholic and a member of an extremely pious convent school, I have been taught to see all special things and coincidences as a sign from God, and as such, I belive in the holiness that 33 represents.

    Comments: I was very interested to see if anyone else had had these 33 experiences, because of knowing you for years, I guess, and seeing you as an intelligent person who was affected by this strange phenomenon. And then suddenly seeing 33s everywhere myself briefly after coming in contact with you. Heaven only knows what it means. Is it from outside oneself, or does one manifest all this oneself? I have always felt there is an unseen world that loves us and hurries to provide us with whatever we seem to want, but am also open to the idea that we are more powerful than we know, and could be manifesting whatever we want ourselves. An interesting experiment would be to have subjects focus on numbers randomly assigned, etc. Very interesting....particularly liked "The Universal Beat." I s'pose I'll see 33s all over the place again now, as I did a few years ago!

    Comments: well, yes I cant believe I found this site, this is happening to me too and even the people around me are starting to notice that only when I am with them, we are ALWAYS 100% of time the time, guaranteed everyday, to be behind a "33" on a license plate, among many other 33 things. they say they look n look when im not with them, and never see any.... so that proves I am not "looking" for it. n all the things I read on ur site are not surprising I know it has to do with how we will transcend physically to "spiritually" basically space/time travel, at will...... like the masurement of a circle.. and how the "collapsing" effect, causing us to be able to travel to other dimensions, our bodies were actually made for travel. amazing huh?

    Comments: its me again!!!!! it just "came" to me at age 9 that 33 was my favorite number and ver since then,... ive had the similar experiences of everyday, no matter what im doing, and how much my mind is NOT on the clock, I WILL just instinctively glance at it when it is 3:33 also every single day no matter what, where, even different states, and travelling through states, I am always behind a 33 or 333 license plate, its always the phone number, address I seek, or even the catalogue number on a library book if I happen to ask where it is, its always on all my receipts etc etc, on n on, iyts almost getting so expected that if something is NOT a 33 id be shocked, like what happened? id like to talk to people in person with this phenomenon, because I CANT HELP but to believe we are being called to something, scientific to figure out. what do you think?

    Comments: It is so cool to have found this site. This 3/33/333 thing has been in my life for as long as I can remember. My first address was 33. I am the third female in my family to be born on June 3rd. Gemini= third sign of zodiac. I look at the clock and it's 3:33. A firetruck passes by and it's #33. I am always seeing taxis with the number 33 etc... It just goes on and on. Although I have no idea what the significance of this is, I always thought it was somehow important.

    Anyway, last year I had the urge to write this kind of weird book and I put the numbers 333 on the cover underneath the symbol for the merkabah (the 3-D version of the star of david). Anyway, it turns out that this the 'Star of David' symbol in combination with the numbers 3 and 333 were inscribed on the ring of King Solomon. This ring supposedly gave him special powers. It's really strange because my book is all about how to reclaim the magic and beauty that lies dormant within all of us.

    Comments: I stumbled upon your site today while killing time at work. I'm not usually one to believe in any of this, but over the last few years my experiences have challenged my purely scientific background.

    Let me start at the beginning:

    I have no idea why, but I have always been compelled towards the number 33. I can't even remember the first time I used it, but I remember signing up for my first ISP, Primenet. I had always used the alias, "Talon" in many of the roleplaying games I'd played as a child, and so I decided to make Talon my isp username and email name. I was a bit disappointed when I found out it was already taken.

    Of course, I ended up with the user name, Talon33. Since then the number 33 has been with me always really. There are nights (and many of these is the disturbing thing) where I will wake up at exactly 3:33 in the morning. Sometimes there is a reason: I was having a bad dream, the phone rang, I had to use the restroom. But there were several occaisons where I simply woke up. My eyes just opened, I wasn't startled, I just simply woke up, noticed it was 3:33, and that was it. Nothing ever comes of it, I just find it rather strange and sometimes disturbing.

    In fact, the clock plays the worst part of it. I've gotten rid of my digital watch for this very reason, all day long if I happen to glance at my watch, I swear, its always 1:33, or 7:33, whatever, but I seem to always glance at my watch at exactly thirty-three minutes past the hour.

    Multiple times when I eat chinese, my lucky numbers include 33. In my area of study, engineering, I deal with a lot of math, and the frequency that 33, or just any string of repeated 3's comes up is startling. Of course, 1/3 as a decimal is .3333, etc etc. But it still seems to startle me whenever I see the number 33. I have no idea why, but it ALWAYS sticks out when I see it.

    I'm not about to even try to explain the significance, all I can do is share my experiences. Frankly, I'd just as rather not wake up in the middle of the night and not know why, I rather not have the extremely unpleasant feeling of Deja Vu everytime I see the number 33, I dunno what it is, but I'm drawn to the number. IF anyone has any USEFULL information, I'm more than willing to hear it, but so far I'll I've found is loosly threaded together conspiracy theories, and random assemblies of facts. I don't need to know how creepy it is that something happened on March 3rd, or anything like that. I know weird things involving 33 happen, I experience it every day, I want to know why, not what.

    Comments: I have been seeing triple and double 3's for quite sometime now and I am truely baffeled as to the meaning. I have even written in a journal so I might be able to see a pattern. Originally it would just be once in awhile and mostly triple 3's now it is mostly double 3's and it is becoming more and more frequent. Approximately 4 to 5 times a day. I use to think that it was like owning a red car and then seeing a red car everywhere. But, it is beyond simple logic, chance, or my just being too aware of this phenomenom. I can't even talk about it anymore to my family they just sort of roll there eyes. I am a psychiatric nurse so I am not someone that has alot of delusions about life and feel I am pretty grounded. Hope someone can fill me in and give me some ideas of what is happening.

My house number is 33, my phone number has 6 multiples of 3 including 33. My old workplace was 330, and the work phone number was multiples of 3, including 33. My son was born on the 3rd of the month.

    I read a description of a diamond as being a master stone associated to the master number 33. All the other stones mentioned were one digit numbers. My jaw dropped at this one.

    Comments: Fascinating website! I just found out my life path, as defined by Numerology, is 33, and my 33rd year of life was a remarkable one, so the number has a lot of personal impact for me. Also, my family comes from Birmingham, AL and I spent a most remarkable few months in Long Beach back in the '90's. I no longer believe in "coincidences". Read other stuff about the location of Baghdad, and Babylon and it's significance in world history - and of course, its current significance in global affairs.

    Comments: I turned 33 this past march. I have also been sufferring from an illness for the past 10 months. 2 months before my 33rd birthday, I began to see the number 33 several times a day. I still do, everyday. It can be anywhere, a clock, telephone number, billboard, license plate etc. The fact is I am scared though because I am afraid that the number may mean this is the year of my death. I prefer to think that this is the year I will get better. (The illness I have is not terminal). This is why I am researching the number. I am curious but also concerned.
