NAMM Show, 2006

As you can see in the listing above, I had some equipment onstage that I was using... However, we all have what we'd Prefer using onstage on our own gigs... because we know what makes us sound the very Best we can...
I  use Shure Wireless Systems, and Roland Pedal Products. (They don't usually get us these thing all the time while travelling, so we have to bring our own PERSONAL things like these. But the amps, and keys they usually porvide.)
I had been using Edens gear since 1994, and have had the pleasure of knowing David since 1980.(He doesn't remember me from then though... He built our PA gear back in Minneapolis, MN. back in the day... But, that is another story...)
I have 1 Eden D410XLT4 Cab, and 1 D210XLT-Monitor Wedge
that I LOVE to Death!!! Those 2 combined give ALL of my axes a very clean and distinct sound, with Clarity and BOOTY...

...But, lately I have found a FANTASTIC new cabinet... the Accu Groove system... I used them at Kimball's East in Emeryville early last year at the start of the Tour. I used them AGAIN and fell in LOVE with them at the Newport Beach Jazz Festival last year (2005). My good friend, Mark Wright (of Accu-Groove) supplied me with a couple of them for the Kimballs's gig, (see below...I'm Posing with the 2-2x10s...) AND for a Double-Gig with Paul Taylor, (Morning gig) and Steve Oliver (Afternoon Gig. Again, check out the Pic below...Staring at the El Whappo...) Two Stages, all that So.Cal. heat, and they didn't miss a beat. Been hounding Mark ever since...
They make a Full-Range Cab for EVERYBODY... From Small 1x10's, to the El Whappo, which has 1-15, 1-12, 1-6, and 2 Tweets in it. It is the Bomb!!!
I'm using the El Whappo right now, but plans are in the works to build a nice PA System with 2 2x10s, and 2 El Whappos (Maybe)...
The AccuGroove System is designed to give Bassits (and everybody else) the Full-Range sound within each individual Cabinet, let alone with add-ons... Click on the Picture below to go to their Website...

...I've been using my old Mesa Boogie M-2000 Bass head with the Dual Pre-Amps... Lots of POWER.  I used to like to like to match my components... it just seemed to sound more matched to me. I don't know why... But, THIS is the best combo I have found in years of playing.
That's really the only thing I change while I'm playing. Every thing else is exactly what I use onstage.
I also have at home, A Genz-Benz 2x10 combo amp, (for low volume practicing...)a Roland Juno D Keyboard, an old Music Man Sting Ray that I bring out occasionally, my Yamaha TRB-6P 6 String, and my old Kawai 4-String Fretless bass that I play just to keep the Rust off... both the guitar AND me!!!
