Karin took up the flute in 1968, studying with instuctors in the Philadelphia school district and then
in the Council Rock school district. She holds a degree in both Communication Studies and Music from Bloomsburg
University. The flute is her primary instrument, however she also plays the guitar, piano and is a
vocalist. She performs solo, with the Olney Symphony Orchestra, the Dead On Music project and Touch the Sky ensembles.
She has worked with many Bucks County musicians over the years.
Karin dedicates her music career to encouraging the preservation and enjoyment of the live and recorded art.
Karin believes in and practices the highest potential of excellence and respect for the art believing that regardless
of whether a song is popular, classical or an original composition, it will enlighten someone's soul, thus bringing peace
to the mind, even if only for a moment.
Her newest venture is the production of a collection of her original music.
