Adding Live Music to an event?

Events are an art-form just like any other.  They are atmospheres for an experience.  Many times, music becomes one of the finer details that makes an event truly memorable. 

What I do…

 Understanding the event

Prior to even accepting an engagement, I talk to the host about the event and what they envision.   I can provide you with a demonstration disc with music samples and/or audition to illustrate my solo music first hand.

Determine the right music for the atmosphere

I play solo or accompanied.  My accompaniment can range from one musician to five, depending on what is called for.  

My solo flute music is classical.  I play Handel, Bach and other works.  I also include Broadway show tunes appropriate for the engagement. 

If light jazz, standards or contemporary rock are appropriate, I will require a small ensemble, which can include one accompaniment or a small ensemble of 2 or 3 other  musicians.  My fellow musicians are all experienced individuals who I have performed with over the years.
