04-05-02: (almost 9yrs old) Our first Father/Daughter Dance and Mariah's first corsage!

MY PASSIONS: My 10 year old daughter Mariah.  Otherwise known as Angel, Princess, the Dolphin Princess, and of course "Daddy's little girl".  The Photo Gallery tells it all!  We like to go camping, hiking, bike riding, kite flying, Quad riding, swinging, and swimming.   When I ask what special thing she would like to do on one of my days off, the response is almost always "just stay home and spend the day only with you dad...playing games and stuff...just you and me".  We love to top the day off with a fire in the fireplace (yes winter evenings in AZ do get a little chilly), and then snuggle up to watch a movie with our root beer floats and popcorn.

I'm a long distance dad and she lives almost 2,000 miles away, but we travel back and forth at least 6 times per year to be with each other.  We talk for over an hour about two times a week.  I bought her a fax machine so I could help her with homework, which we do together about once a week.  When I'm in her town I sit in class with her all day helping the teacher with the students when allowed, reading to them and of course playing at recess.

BRIEF BIO: I've been in sales since 1982.  Besides sales I have a well rounded self taught background in computers.  I've done computer software and hardware sales, setup, software design, and support.  I started programming with Q & A for MS-DOS (yes you can laugh) and for the past several years I've been creating MS-Access databases.  I started using Access 2.0 back in early 1995.  Currently I'm part of a family owned business that supplies security products to corrections facilities, courthouses, casino's and corporate America.  I do the sales, product support, computer systems, and internet presence.
