Enrolling in Koei-Kan is easy.  Follow these steps, and you will be well on your way to an enriching experience of Karate.

Start-up Package

To get started with Koei-Kan, download these files and fill them out, then bring them to the Dojo (school) to begin.

1)         Schedule your first lesson

This can be done by e-mailing Sensei Robles, the chief instructor, calling the school (Dojo), or by visiting Dojo.  The first lesson is different from the trial lesson, the first lesson is the first official lesson, and is the start of your Karate career.  The lesson can be at any time that lessons are offered, and can also be either a private lesson or part of a group lesson. 

2)         Complete the start-up package
 
The files for the start-up package can be downloaded by clicking on the links in the bar to the right.  The package includes sign-up papers and a photo release statement.  These should be filled out and brought to the Dojo.  The files are in PDF format, which means that they can be downloaded regardless of operating system. 
 
Hardcopy version of start-up papers are available at the school, or can be mailed upon request.

3)         Pay the first month's tuition
 
The long-term tuition is non-binding, we only ask that two weeks notice prior to the 1st of the month be given.  The tuition can be payed online through Paypal, or at the Dojo with check, cash, or credit/debit card.  Exact tuition amounts can be found at "Tuition and Enrollment"  . 

4)         Purchase a uniform and bring it to your first lesson
 
A uniform, which includes your white belt, can be purchased at the Dojo or on the Karate Gear Store on Ebay.  Contact should be made with Koei-Kan in regards to which uniform should be bought.  A complete uniform includes the Keikogi (the top and pants), the belt, Hachimaki (headband) and the Koei-Kan patch (monsho).  Please note: that the patch and headband cannot be purchased and will be given to you upon sign up.
