These programs were written by Andy Petersen, one of our team members. They were helpful for our team, so we thought
we'd share them with other FLL teams using the NXT robot.
They are .rbt files, which we zipped for faster downloading. Just unzip in the location you want. Then you can open and
download to your NXT robot.

Distance Calc
Allows you to run the robot straight, using the touch sensor to start/stop and view the distance
1. Attach a touch sensor to port 1 and hold in your hand, ready to touch it.
2. Run the program

Press the left or right buttons to say if you want to go forward or backward
4. When ready, bump the touch sensor
once.
5. When it has gone as far as you want it bump the touch sensor again.
6. The NXT display will show how
far the robot has gone (in degrees).

Turn Calc
Allows you to turn the robot, using the touch sensor to start/stop and view the number of degrees
it has turned.
1. Attach a touch sensor to port 1 and hold in your hand, ready to touch it.
2. Run the program

Press the left or right buttons to say if you want to go left or right
4. When ready, bump the touch sensor once.
5. When the robot has turned as far as you want, bump the touch sensor again.
6. The NXT display
will show how far the robot has turned (in degrees).NOTE: This is with the turn slider all the way to the right or left.
7.
If needed, press the enter button (orange square) and the robot will go back to its original position.

Distance Go V1.0
Allows you to tell the robot how far forward to go using the buttons
and touch sensor to enter the number of degrees.
1. Attach a touch sensor to port 1
2. Run the program
3. Type
in the number of degrees you want it to go
3a. Right button increases it by 10
3b. Left button increases it by 100
3c.
Touch sensor increases it by 1
4. Press the enter button (orange square) for the robot to go that distance
Will have an option go forward or backward in V2.0
Will be able to decrease numbers by given amount
in V2.0
