The creation at left is one of the many leg warmers that I knit for the Broadway production of "CATS".
This particular warmer is one of the hand-knit pair for a character named Rumpleteazer. The orange portion is knitting
worsted yarn and the black and white sections are sewing trims made of wool fringe.

The hood below is an example of my machine-knit chainmail made from metallic cord. I made a chain mail shirt and
pants for "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" as well as historical hoods, sleeves, and other pieces for theatrical productions.
I have also developed a deconstructed version of this knitting for fashion garments.

At right, a machine-knit and partially embroidered sample of a pumpkin border for an autumn-themed, cardigan sweater
for Meryl Streep to wear in "One True Thing". The green sweater had borders around the sweater and sleeve bottoms and
orange zig-zags up the front. This garment didn't make it into the final version of the film but my knit hats did.

| crochet web sample for a blouse |
At left is a sample of a crocheted web fabric that I developed for a number of projects. This technique was first
used for sea costumes in a Las Vegas review, then used for cream tops and part of a pink blouse for Britney
Spears in the "I am a Slave 4U" video, and later done for a blouse for Madonna. Although the sample was
photographed in a relaxed state, this crochet fabric is designed to stretch to create form-fitting garments.
