In memory of Kenneth Nighman who died of complications related to cancer on 8/20/2001, his webpage remains available to the public as a tribute to a man who dramatically changed the lives of many. His down-to-earth approach to psychotherapy coupled with the unusual ability to quickly understand the dynamics of even the most complicated personalities and his extreme concern for the health and well being of his patients made him unparalleled in his profession. In short, his success as a therapist can best be measured by the tremendous gains achieved by his patients; many of whom went on to lead very happy lives. In an age where traditional psychotherapy is rapidly being replaced by medication, Ken's work with patients can be considered even more of a marvel. He will be missed and his work always remembered.
