Timothy F. Pearce, Associate

Tim joined Hersh & Hersh in 1999 as a Law Clerk, and became an Associate in 2001. He works on a wide range of civil cases, including catastrophic motor vehicle accidents and bad faith insurance claims. 

• Prior to joining Hersh & Hersh, Tim worked for a law firm helping consumers who suffered from asbestos-related diseases in seeking redress from companies who had filed for bankruptcy in order to skirt their financial responsibility to the victims of their products. Within two years, he helped bring in more than seven million dollars in awards against one such company.

• Member of San Francisco Bar Association, San Francisco Barristers Association, and Marin County Bar Association.

• Admitted to California Bar in 2001. Also admitted to practice before U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California

Personal Statement

I have always enjoyed helping consumers pursue justice. I believe the American legal system has proven and will continue to prove that it is the great equalizer in the David vs. Goliath battle of consumers versus large corporations. Working for Hersh & Hersh gives me the opportunity to fight for what I believe in by helping consumers in their search for justice.
