Leroy Hersh, Partner
LeRoy
has practiced law in San Francisco since 1955, and founded
Hersh & Hersh with his daughter Nancy over 30 years
ago. Throughout his years of practice, LeRoy has been dedicated
to using the law to achieve social change and justice
for the individual, and has been instrumental in setting
a tone of compassion and respect of the individual
throughout Hersh & Hersh.
- LeRoy has a long record of successfully trying
and/or resolving many multi-million dollar cases protecting
the rights of the individual. Among his many groundbreaking
cases was the case against the manufacturers of diethylstilbestrol
(DES case). He successfully argued the case of eleven
women whose mothers took the drug, winning a $41 million
award after demonstrating that not only was the drug ineffective,
but that it caused a rare cancer (clear cell adenocarcinoma)
and other injuries in the daughters' reproductive systems.

Plaintiff's Steering Committee for the Silicone Breast
Implant Multi-District Litigation.
