Kevin M. Kieffer is currently an assistant professor and the psychology internship coordinator at Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Florida. He is also completing a postdoctoral residency at the James A. Haley VA Medical Center in Tampa, Florida. Kevin received his Ph.D. from the Counseling Psychology Program at Texas A&M University in August, 2000. Prior to that degree, he received a M.S. degree in Community Counseling from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1996, and a B.S. degree in Psychology from Indiana University in 1994. His current research interests include statistical and research methods, personality assessment and modeling, geropsychological and neuropsychological assessment, aspects of the therapeutic alliance, and psychological instrument development and validation. He is a member of a number of professional organizations, and regularly presents his papers at national, regional and state conferences. Kevin currently lives in Clermont, Florida with his significant other Kathryn Fleming and his adorable cat, Brianna. In his free time he enjoys myriad activities including golf, tennis, hiking, camping, motorcycling, mountain biking, fishing, and pleasure reading.
