At the age of 71 and after a lengthy battle with cancer Ned went home to be the Lord on July 3, 2009.
    He was born in Kent, Washington. He and wife Judy were married in 1961 residing in Renton, Washington until relocating to Yuma, Arizona in 1996 and then moving to Mesa, Arizona in 2005.
    Ned served in the United States Navy from September 1957 to June 1960. He worked for the Boeing Airplane Company for 39 years, retiring from his position as Manager in Flight Test at the Boeing Field location, Seattle, Washington in 1994. He and wife Judy then moved to Naches, Washington where many hours were spent on snowmobiles exploring the mountains of Eastern Washington, also hiking, hunting for mushroom and sitting on their porch in the evenings looking out at the Naches River. Many miles were also spent in the motor home, traveling to different sections of the USA, making many friends along the way. The past few years were spent Arizona, winters in Yuma and Mesa and summers in Show Low, Arizona.
    Ned leaves behind his loving wife of 48 years, one brother, two sisters-in-law, a mother-in-law, 2 nephews, 6 nieces and many friends. In lieu of flowers, an expression of sympathy donation may be made to the Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014-5656.
