This bag was peyote-stitched (not in the round -- it was "rotated" 90
degrees and joined to form a tube). I worked on it on and off for a long
time, and I wasn't working from a pattern so I had to be careful to make
the design "seamless" at both ends where they were to be joined. I
finished it sometime in early 1996, although I never did make a real
chain.
