The pattern for this bag came from Classic Beaded Purse Patterns
by E. De Jong-Kramer. It is knit in the round, shoving a pre-strung bead
through each stitch and decreasing 5 times each row (thus causing the
"ridges"). I used 13/o beads, round and one-cuts, for the purse. I
started stringing over Christmas break 1996 and finished knitting in the
next few weeks.
