This bag is huge. I would tell you how huge, but my tape measure keeps disappearing.

I used a needlepoint chart in Oriental Carpets in Miniature by Frank M. Cooper. The bag was made by bead knitting, which is a very time-consuming effort where one has to string all the beads (you can break a large pattern into sections) in reverse order of how you will knit them. This particular piece contains 34,662 size 13 seed beads, and I started it nearly 3 years ago.

The back is finished in the same crushed blue velvet as the drawstring loops, and I made the drawstring braid.
