This is just one side of this large purse. I made the purse by taking a
large piece of UltraSuede, gluing assorted semi-precious and vintage
glass cabochons down in a pleasing manner, and then covering every
visible square inch with beads, mainly Czech seed beads, but also a
variety of Czech pressed glass, Japanese glass, semi-precious shapes. I
took a purse frame from an irreparable mesh purse, and voila!

Here is a scan (lower quality, since it was not made from one of the
CatchLight slides) of the other side, which has
a very different aquatic-themed design. I didn't keep track, but this
purse took hundreds of hours and the better part of a year to complete.
