Helping rescued Fox Terriers find forever homes since 1998.

Meet Abbie, a senior wire fox terrier. Abbie is described as cute, fun, a great lap dog, calm, and she has her service animal tag and can go anywhere. Abbie is a great traveler, in fact she spent 4 months in France. She very recently had a vet check up and was declared healthy. Abbie has experience with cats but may not do well with a new cat. She is unpredictable around other dogs and young children as is typical for her breed. Abbie is 11 years young, active and loves to chase around in the yard. She has a form of separation anxiety where she really wants to be able to see her people all of the time but she can be left alone in the car for an hour or so while her owner does errands. She would be a great dog for a senior or senior couple who can spend lots of time with her. Abbie knows lots of tricks and commands is spayed and up-to-date on her vaccinations and she weighs 18 lb. She is not crate trained. A home visit and interview are required before consideration will be given. We will consider homes within a 2-hour Drive of the Portland Oregon area and as far north as a Seattle area. For additional information please email .
