The Fox Terrier Fanciers of Puget Sound Rescue (FTFPS Rescue) is a pure-breed rescue organization affiliated with the Fox Terrier Fanciers of Puget Sound. We care about all Fox Terriers, both Wire and Smooth.
We take Fox Terriers from Western Washington animal shelters. We also take Fox Terriers when their owners can no longer keep them.
We screen and educate potential adoptive homes throughout the Pacific Northwest. We work cooperatively with other rescue organizations to ensure the best permanent and loving homes for our dogs.

ADOPTION POLICIES:
1. Adoptive owners must be prepared to demonstrate their ability and willingness to provide proper food, medical care, and a loving, safe, healthy, and clean environment for the adoptive Fox Terrier.
2. No Fox Terrier will be placed in a new home which does not provide a fully fenced yard, except for apartment dwellers. Whenever possible, we try to conduct a home visit during the application process.
3. Our goal is to place rescued dogs in pet homes. All rescued dogs will be spayed or neutered prior to placement.
4. All prospective homes must submit an application before consideration is given.
5. All adoptions require a contract.
6. FTFPS Rescue will follow up on all placed dogs to ensure their care and safety.
7. The adoption fee ranges from $100 to $200 with the typical request of $150, this helps us offset our expenses for spaying, neutering, and other medical costs.
