Mathematics for the Technologies 1 is
the first course of a four-year sequential program of mathematical studies
focusing on the development of the student's ability to understand and
apply mathematics. Students are expected to use scientific and/or graphing
calculators. Mathematics for the Technologies 1 will include instruction
in the following areas: arithmetic, evaluating variable expressions,
operations from matrices, field properties, solving and graphing linear
equations and inequalities, slope, and the equation of a line.
