If you are considering a puppy, I would like to point out at this time that besides taking your heart puppies also take your time, patience, shoes etc... House training a puppy is also time consuming. I like my puppies to have a home with a fenced yard and enroll in a dog obedience class at 6 months of age. It is important to have a dog with manners (especially when it ends up weighing 80 pounds) It is always a consideration to RESCUE a dog rather than purchase a puppy. Lab rescue link is below.
