We need to ensure adequate funding to repair residential streets, and we must develop
a schedule that prioritzes those critical repairs.

If elected, these are some of the first issues I would tackle:
- Keep the CIty's budget stable by maintaining and attracting a balance
of compatible retail, commercial and hospitality (hotels) businesses to the City.
- Ensure that the City becomes more "user friendly" for residents. We should serve
the residents any time, day or night through the City's web page.
- Expand the search for grant funds, to be used for transportation, street
improvements and special targeted programs.
- Ensure that "Problem Oriented Policing" is instituted in the community so that problems
are dealt with in a proactive manner, and that Community Lead Officers interact with the residents to solve problems
before they escalate.
- Designate City staff to work with current businesses to resolve code and other issues
before they become problems.
- That staff designee should also assist new businesses in navigating the complexities
of City procedures.
