Dr. Jenkins is a graduate of the University of Delaware, where he received his degree in Nutritional Science and the University of Bridgeport where he received his Chiropractic degree. As part of his dedication to teaching, he is the local representative for the prestigious Foundation for Wellness Professionals, Inc., a National Not-For-Profit Organization, comprised of health care providers who volunteer to educate their communities on wellness and disease prevention.

Dr. Jenkins has advanced education in Maternity and Pediatric care, is certified in the Webster technique and recognized for this specialty by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This chiropractic technique helps to correct sacral misalignment, balance pelvic muscles and ligaments which in turn removes torsion to the woman's uterus, its resulting constraint to the baby, and allows the baby to get into the best possible position for birth. Chiropractic care is essential for the pregnant mother. Her systems and organs are now providing for two and their optimal function is critical for the baby's healthy development.

Specific chiropractic care throughout pregnancy works with enhancing nervous system function providing greater health potential for both the mother and baby. We encourage our pregnant patients to be well-informed and deal with the birth process with the least amount of interference possible. We do this because we care about the health of both the mother and the soon-to-be-born baby.

Chiropractic care for children offers your family a solid foundation for wellness. Throughout pregnancy, birth, and childhood, the chiropractic lifestyle offers choices and benefits for your greater health and well-being. Many spinal problems seen in adults began as early as birth. As such, more and more parents are seeking chiropractic care for their children.
