Ortho-Bionomy® - Self-Care
If you've ever wished that you could practice Ortho-Bionomy on yourself, this class is for you!
As an introduction to the principles of Ortho-Bionomy by using it as a method of self-care, it's a full day of twisting,
slouching, oooo-ing and ahh-ing. You'll get an introduction to the basic principles and techniques for self-positioning for
the most common and easily addressed complaints and conditions.
This class is also a great addition for professionals in physical or occupational therapy, sports medicine, or other healing
specialists as an introduction to the philosophy of Ortho-Bionomy, providing a whole box of take-home tools for your clients.
OPEN TO EVERYONE!

Ortho-Bionomy® Phase 4 Fundamental Principles and Techniques
(The Basic)
This four day long class is where it all starts (don't be thrown by the "Phase 4").
Over the course of the class you will learn the fundamentals including history of Ortho-Bionomy, it's principles, and
the basic techniques for addressing the body in a hands-on way. By the end, you will be able to practice some basic Ortho-Bionomy®
skills with friends and family, or add them to your bodywork practice.
WARNING: This class has been known to cause addiction; once taken, you may not be able to get enough!
CEUS AVAILABLE FOR MANY PROFESSIONALS

Ortho-Bionomy® Exploration of Movement Patterns
Bodies are meant to move! Ortho-Bionomy is so much more than positioning. Exploring range of motion in the body is where it
really comes alive. Understanding the depth and subtlety of exploring the different ways of reflecting movement back to the
body brings a profound insight to the work.

Ortho-Bionomy® Phase 4 - Addressing Plantar Fasciitis
Ortho-Bionomy Isometrics are unique in that they are designed to have a fine, discriminating effect on the nervous system
rather than build muscle. The feedback provided by OB isometrics can help break up resistant patterns. About as brute force
as Ortho-Bionomy gets, isometrics can be worked on a remarkably subdued level as well.

Ortho-Bionomy® Practitioner Study Groups
Practitioner Study Groups are open to all students of Ortho-Bionomy whether enrolled in the Practitioner program or not. These
classes can vary in length and provide an opportunity to explore a variety of material from the practical to the conceptual.
Topics could include topics from "New Ways of Approaching a Session" to "Practice Record Keeping", to
"Working with Children".

Ortho-Bionomy® Phase 5
In Phase 5 we build on the principles learned in the Basic and other Phase 4 classes by combining them with an increased
awareness of the energetic patterns of the body. By deepening our connection with the client, we are better able to work more
responsively to the self-corrective movement subtly initiated by the body. Through the practice of observing, following, and
supporting subtle movement patterns, muscular tension is released, range of motion is increased and pain is reduced or eliminated. In
Phase 5, students are encouraged to do less and let the client be the guide for his/her exploration of change.
Prerequisites:
1 or 2 Basics/Phase 4 classes.
