| I would consider myself to be a beginner birder. Costa Rica offers such a richness that even a beginner can spot dozens of Costa Rica's 857 species. I added many to my life list - the oropendola with its bright gold tail and all the anteaters - antthrush, antshrike, antwren. Here is the list of the 53 species I saw. | |||
