As mentioned on Fluffy's page, Brother is Fluffy's littermate and of course brother. When they first
appeared, they were called "the fluffy kitten" and "the brother of the fluffy kitten", hense their names. Brother suddenly
returned several months after Fluffy. Brother was mortified when he first saw Fluffy let me touch him and totally beside
himself when Fluffy moved into the garage. It only took an additional month to realize Fluffy was on to something.
You would never think Brother had been a feral cat either, but he is far more independent than Fluffy.
He will come into the house for short periods, but soon wants back in the garage. He is also good with strangers, but
more reserved than Fluffy and keeps the unknown at a safe distance. He is the guardian of the eight cats that call the
garage their home. Any threat to the others and Brother runs to defend; more like a dog in that manner than a cat.
UPDATED JUNE, 2005
Brother has come a long way in the last year. He spends much more time in the house and
loves to be petted. He gives almost passionate kitty kisses. I can now pick him up and carry him at will.
He has been going out less and less and is fairly happy adjusting to a more indoor lifestyle.
UPDATED OCTOBER, 2006
The past year has been rather uneventful for Brother. He has gained some weight as we go
into his fifth year, but we are trying to work on that. He is still top cat. He gets frustrated if he hears some
of the neighbor's cats fighting as he used to include them in his protected zone. I think he would squeeze through the
catzebo mesh if he could. He has become increasingly affectionate and is now one of our most loving cats. Who
would have guessed it looking at that mean feral cat just a few years ago.
