JANUARY, 2007
Sadie joined our family the day after Thanksgiving, 2006. Friends found her on their porch. Neighbors had heard
her crying in the bushes for the prior two nights. Obviously she had been dumped by some heartless fiend. Our
friends didn't want a cat and the local Humane Society was full so she came to Kitty City. Poor little girl had infections
in both eyes, a URI, worms, and of course fleas. She also had the round, firm belly that goes with starvation.
Sadie recovered quickly and has become a full fledged member of the garage based group. Splash and Grayson are her
best friends and constant playmates. Nobody is really mean to her. Starburst just sort of pretends she doesn't
exist, but that is the worst of it. She is full of energy and constantly getting into trouble as all kittens do.
It took her a while, but she has even learned how to use the pet doors out to the catzebo.
Sadie's coloring is a bit unusual. She is a tabby patch calico, but as she grows her stripes are breaking up
into spots. I would have loved to have seen how her parents were colored. She has large ears with well defined
lynx points at the tips. I think she will be a real beauty when grown.
