As discussed on Starburst's page, Tuck is her littermate. He is a perfect tuxedo
cat. He is a bit more shy than Starburst and still gets anxious if kept in the house too long. He prefers to be
curled up in the garage at night with Brother and Splash.
Tuck is the most gentle cat I have ever seen. He never gets upset or mad. He is very loving and
wants his tummy scratched whenever he can get someone to do it. He does not like to sit in a lap, however.
Tuck does have one unusual trait. He LOVES water. He plays in it whenever and where ever he can
find it. He even loves to walk on the frozen ponds in the winter. He loves the rain and the puddles it makes.
UPDATED JUNE, 2005
Tuck has really become very muscular and solid as he fully matures. He could probably give
Brother and Fluffy a run for top cat, but he is still the most gentle soul in the world. He never gets mad and gets
his feelers hurt real easy if anyone gets mad at him, especially Brother. He and Brother are best buddies. Tuck
probably is having the hardest time adjusting to less and less free time outside. He unfortunately loves to roam, so
Kathy and I are glad to be able to curtail that wander lust.
UPDATED OCTOBER, 2006
Tuck continued to have a hard time adjusting to being confined and became very depressed.
He would just mope all day and gained a lot of weight. I started taking the original feral four (Tuck, Starburst, Fluffy,
and Brother) on supervised outings a couple of times a month. This help his mood a lot. He became palyful again
and lost some of the weight he gained. With their new outdoor enclose, I have really cut back on outings, but Tuck enjoys
the new enclosure and there has been no recurrence of the prior depression.
UPDATED JULY, 2010
Tuck has done pretty well over the last four years, but has gained a bit of weight. He definitely looks
portly. We are working on weight reduction and hopefully he will get down to a nice weight again,
