                       It takes 3 logs



   It takes 3 logs to build a
                   long burning fire,
       where flames, in small but steady dance,
      give the mind
      a thru-the-eyes place
       to dream
              relaxed in peace.
On days when the sky
     glows in
             cold gray hues,
     and the fog leaves
                       droplets
     on the window pane,
     I hands-on think
     of a 3 log pile,
     glowing at the center,
