Information for Teachers:

This site was based on a project/unit by a teacher.  The site was created with the intent that it would make it easier for students and adults to learn about government and the way it works, without getting too in-depth.  Feel free to use this site if it helps, and feel free to give students the quiz.  (It is probably a middle-school level quiz (in terms of questions) but that doesn't mean an adult can automatically get everything correct.  Many adults still don't understand how government works, but after reading the site adults or students should be fully prepared to take the quiz and answer everything correctly.  If you plan to have a whole class (or more) take the quiz it would be apprectiated if you could contact the webmaster first, so that we don't receive too many without warning.  One idea is pairing people to take the quiz so that only half as many are sent.  This can be discussed with the webmaster.  The email address is below.  It is also important to note that the volume of quizzes coming in means that it is impossible to answer every quiz individually.  The results will have a score, and a list of corrections (just what the correct letter of the multiple choice is).  If you wish the webmaster can provide you with an answer key for the multiple choice if you would rather give the quiz yourself, off the internet.  The printer-friendly quiz would be good for this also.
