Cruisin' the Great Loop is a monthly column in the WAVES, a supplement to the Ft. Myers News-Press.

 

Florida resident, Jan Boys, shares glimpses into the cruising life from the logs of the WE BE BLEST I, II and III, a 24' Monark pontoon, a 27' Sea Ray Sundancer, and a 28' Camano pocket trawler. 

 

Cruising over 20,000 miles, Jan and husband Gene traveled extensively on the inland waterways from Minnesota to Florida and have completed the Great Loop, a circumnavigation of the eastern third of North America.

 

They live and dock their Camano in Old Bridge Village, North Fort Myers, Florida on the Caloosahatchee River.
