     The water gilding process moved very slowly at first.  Layer after layer of gesso and size had to be painstakingly applied to each surface to be gilded.  (The main ingredient of gesso and size is rabbit skin glue, which is not always the most pleasant stuff to work with.)  Kimberly is excited that this year-long project now stands completed.
