Kazakh Children

Infants, toddler, and school-aged children are available. Most children are Asian, Caucasian, or biracial. Siblings can be adopted. More than one child can be adopted at the same time. Photolisting of Kazakh children are available on the web. See my links page.

Note: The requirements and process below is combined with US laws, but it should be a basis for citizens of other countries.

Requirements

Couples must be married for at least 2.5 years and parents must be at least 25 years old. Usually, there must be a 45 age difference between the child and parent (younger parent with couples). This age preference is flexible when adopting older children. 60 years old is the maximum age of the parents. There is no limit on the number of children in your home.

Process

Information about a child comes 2 - 6 months after the documents arrive in Kazakhstan. Parents receive photos, a video, and medical information. Both parents must travel in a trip of 3 - 4 weeks. It is recommended that the documents you bring to Kazakhstan (home study, etc.) are translated into Russian.
