Belarusian Children
The children available are usually 8 months and older. Most children live in orphanges.
Note: The requirements and process below is combined with US laws, but it should be a basis
for citizens of other countries.
Requirements
Parents must be at least 16 years older than the child. Both parents must travel. Single women may adopt. The minumum age
of the parents should be 25. It is recommended that no more 4 children be in the home at the time of adoption.
Process
The time spent in Belarus varies, but for most, it is about 10 days.
