Weather / Climate
Panama is mainly a low-lying country. The mountains descend from Costa Rica into Panama, so most of the country is under 3000
feet. The country is tropical. It rains the least from December to April. It is a humid country, and the temperature is mostly
in the 80s-90s F/ 28 - 37 C, with the evenings a bit cooler. Rainfall is usually an inch each day during the rainy (summer)
season of May - November. The Caribbean region receives almost twice as much rain as the Pacific side, but is evened out throughout
the year. The dry season is so dry, it isn't enough to support a rainforest. The temperatures depend on the altitude (cooler
the higher you go).
Other Information / Panama
The capital is Panama City. The country borders Colombia and Costa Rica, and is buffered by the Caribbean Sea and Pacific
Ocean.
