Born in Chicago, Kevin possesses an aggressive funk style that is heavily influenced by rock, jazz,
R&B, and world music. His versatility has served him well recording with Gotti 13, Dan Miller, Lorena Mire',
None Other, Rob Boyle, John Depaola, Jeff Phillips, and Canadian pop star Bruce Guthro. Bruce’s
album, was awarded the East Coast Music Awards "2002 Album of the Year." In the media, Kevin has appeared
in magazines across the nation, and on television with Latin artists such as Illegales and La India. Additionally, he has
been seen in Disney commercials with Sheila E. and Julio Iglesias Jr. Kevin has always loved performing
live, notably with artists like Danielle Kristen, Gotti 13, Chapter Five, Fashiondive, Harry Connick Sr., Bill Allred, Bobby Pickwood, Boots Randolph, & Joe Williams.
Kevin
earned a Master of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a Bachelor of Music degree from Eastern Illinois
University. While at Mizzou, he worked as an arranger and instructor for the Missouri Drumline, and also founded
the first UMC World Percussion Ensemble. Additionally, he was accepted as an honorary member into the national
band fraternity of Kappa Kappa Psi. Kevin has enjoyed sharing
his knowledge of music as a clinician with students of all ages, including teaching several years at the United States
Percussion Camp. In 2003, he was a drumset clinician at the Yamaha Sounds of Summer Midwest Percussion
Camp. Back in Florida, Kevin continues to provide music education to students around the Orlando
area through private lessons.
