El Centro Cultural Ñañhu Mbithe se formó para promover y conservar la cultura de esta comunidad Otomí, además de ofrecer instrucción en otras técnicas, apoyar el desarrollo comunitario y funcionar como un lugar donde vender las artesanías a un precio parejo. El centro se dirige por los mismos miembros de la comunidad. Uno de los artes de San Pablito es la fabricación del Papel Amate, lo cual se utilizaba por los historiadores Mexicas para registrar en "Codices" los eventos mayores de su historia, cultura y ciencias. Además de ser practicamente los únicos productores de este papel, también pintan sobre el Amate y recortan figuras muy detallados. Los diseños y la misma fabricación del papel tienen sus raíces en las ceremonias Ñañhu para sanar o para ofrendas en que se requiere unas figuras de papel que representan diferentes espíritus. The Mbithe Ñañhu Cultural Center of San Pablito, Puebla in Mexico was formed to promote and conserve the culture of this Otomí community as well as offer instruction in new skills, support for community development and be place to sell crafts at a standardized price. The center is run entirely by community members. One of the arts of San Pablito is the making of "Amate" paper, which was used by Mexica historians to record the major events of their history, culture and science in their codexes. Aside from being practically unique in making this, they also paint on it and cut out intricate designs in the paper (papel picado). The designs, and even the fabrication of the paper have their roots in Otomí (Ñañhu) ceremonies for healing or for offerings that require paper figures that represent different spirits.
