Reed frog
At long last, I was able to take a picture of this elusive
little guy. He/she was the first frog that I put in the vivarium, back
when I was still testing it out. I had put him in as a tadpole, to see
if anything toxic was leaching into water from the materials and plants
that I used. The tadpole thrived and morphed into this froglet. It could
be a hybrid of two different kinds of reed frogs. The mom is all yellow
with the white face mask, while the dad was yellow with large black-outlined
white spots all over his back and legs. This one started out greenish,
but is slowly developing the yellow color as well as some white spots on
the legs.
