ARTIST GATHERING TO BE HELD AT EXOTIC PLANTS
MOMS BRING YOUR KIDS!
Sacramento, April 24, 2004---Exotic Plants of Sacramento is hosting an artist gathering on today dedicated
to the wide variety of orchids. Come Paint Orchids will feature five local artists capturing the beauty of the orchid live
on canvass from noon to 6:00 p.m.
According to Exotic Plants owner Kifumi Keppler, the public is definitely invited to attend this event, however, children
are especially encouraged. "This event is a great opportunity for young people to learn as they can watch some of Sacramento's
finest artists produce their works live from start to finish," states Keppler. Come Paint Orchids will also feature
a children's painting area located on site, complete with easels and brushes.
A portion of the proceeds from Come Paint Orchids will benefit The National Arbor Foundation's Rain Forest Rescue,
a foundation established to educate the public about the value of rain forests and to give people the opportunity to help
save threatened rain forest areas. Support from University Arts and Art Ellis art supply stores will also be present at the
event.
Exotic Plants is located at 1801 Howe Avenue in Sacramento. For more information on Come Paint Orchids, contact Exotic
