CS 82 Server-Side Web Programming |
Fall 2003 |
This course teaches how to design and write applications that extend Web servers. These applications process data submitted from Web forms and access back-end databases to dynamically generate Web pages. This course covers primarily the MS Active Server Pages (ASP) server-side technology. It also introduces the Common Gateway Interface (CGI) and Perl.
I will make extensive use of this Website to communicate with you. You are responsible for awareness of the information posted here -- announcements, agendas, assignments, etc. Access the Website from any SMC computer lab, or an Internet-connected browser anywhere.
12/12 Final grades have been submitted. If you would like to know your grade you can email me. Thank you class for a very enjoyable semester. Judging by your fine final projects, you did learn how to create Web applications that involve server-side scripting and database backends.
12/12 Team projects If you email me a link to your team project, I will post it on this course website for the edification of future generations of CS 82 students.
